Tech Platform Mgr: Harsh Environment - Optimization & Contr

Business Unit: GE Infrastructure, EnergyFunction: Engineering/ Product DevelopmentResponsibilities: * Manage team of ~40 employees.
Serve as site leader for all engineering team members at Twinsburg, OH facility.
Manage development of harsh environment (nuclear, oil & gas) sensor products.
Responsible for all NPI, Sustaining, RTS, and Productivity activities associated with harsh environment sensor engineering.
Assist Product General Managers and Product Line Leaders with development of MGPP/MGSP for harsh environment sensor products.
Coordinate with Product General Managers, Product Line Leaders, Project Managers to ensure prioritization and delivery of products.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: * Minimum of 5 years demonstrated success leading teams of increasing scope and responsibility; proven team leadership skills; ability to effectively influence and motivate others.
Bachelors degree in engineering.
Commercial or technical background with experience with ITO, Sales, Marketing, NPI or technical processes.Desired: * Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong project management skills.
Strong organizational, analytical and statistical competencies.
Six Sigma MBB or BB certified (GE employees only).
Advanced technical/engineering degree.
Experience in nuclear and/or oil & gas industries.
