Team Lead Development Engineer

Working closely with product managers to understand key business requirements, develop technical specifications, and system/process workflows.

Project management responsibility for all financially oriented Corporate Systems projects including:
oProject document creation (Overview, Scope, Goals/Objectives, Risks, Costs, Outcomes, Timeline)
oProject plan creation (Task Creation, task assignment, task management, management updates)

Lead all aspects of application development for the PeopleSoft HCM suite of applications.

“Hands-on” responsibility for the delivery of both packaged and custom solutions.

Introduce new innovations to the development team through use of PeopleSoft technology and process

Application unit testing

Input into quality assurance test plans

Configuration of end to end technical infrastructure

Supervision of HCM development team including
oMentoring team members in development and PeopleSoft “best-practices”
oAssignment of tasks
oMonitoring completion of tasks
oReview, Refine, Communicate and Monitor adherence to programming standards
oFeedback into employee reviews
oTracking and reporting of department metrics
oInput into hiring decisions

Communication with Corporate Systems Management
oWeekly status report
oVerbal update(s) on production issues
oDocument and communicate internal process improvements
Other Responsibilities

Contribute to Monthly release activities
oAdhering to approved Change Management processes, will coordinate notification, scheduling and promotion of approved activities

Remain current (within 1 quarter) on new features, enhancements, fixes with application vendorsJob Requirements
