TEST TECHNICIAN - RF

Job Summary: Test products by performing the following duties with close supervision. Other duties may be assigned.

** Test assembled microwave connector products for operational reliability to stringent standards.
** Assemble production samples and engineering prototypes, working with MPD product engineering, in suitable form for testing.
** Analyzes test results for compliance to specifications, and qualify or reject the product on these results.
** Calibrate and maintain a highly expensive and complex Network Analyzer.
** Care for and use of sensitive standards and gauging equipment.
** Collect and maintain test data for all shippable production test lots.
** Maintain record of time spent on various jobs.
REQUIREMENTS
Skills/Experience: 1-3 years hands-on experience required. Must have knowledge of RF electronic fundamentals, working knowledge of basic RF electronic test equipment, basic knowledge of microwave concepts as applicable to electronic applications, the ability to follow complex written and verbal test procedures and working understanding of Microsoft Excel and basic office software.

Education: Associates (2-year) Technical Degree in Electronics or equivalent work experience required.

Physical demands: Ability to lift 20+ pounds.
Able to perform bench work of a repetitive nature. Must have the visual ability and manual dexterity to work with small parts in an efficient manner. Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time to perform testing of units to verify performance.
