TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER - MATHCAD/MCAD

In this exciting opportunity, your primary responsibility will be to provide technical assistance for the Mathcad product line via phone and e-mail.You will be responsible for troubleshooting customer inquiries related to installation and usage of our math-based products. As a support technician, you must be able to prioritize your issues and determine the appropriate course of action. You will be working closely with our Quality Assurance team to ensure problem resolution.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
Assisting our sales team with technical presales questions and product demonstrations.

Creating technical documents for our online knowledge base and support newsletter.

Logging and assigning incoming support issues.

Assisting in generation of license files for our Enterprise customers.REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in math, science or engineering

0-5 years previous support or customer service experience (number of years of experience will establish the level of role that person is hired into)

Familiarity with FLEXlm a plus.

Mathcad experience would be a huge PlusSPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Outstanding verbal and written communications skills

Strong phone presence

Exceptional organizational skills

General interest and knowledge in math

Knowledge of Windows operating systems

Strong problem-solving ability

Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Initiative and motivation to learn
