Classification: Consulting Compensation: $40.00 to $50.00 per hour Business Analyst to work on Datawarehousing Project .Microstrategy,BO, Cognos ,ETL datawarehosuing experience ,
Analyst will work with end users to define needs for development projects or system enhancements of medium to high complexity; documents functional and system related requirements; develops cost justification analysis; performs systems analysis and design functions; participates in system testing; provides supplemental user training, and provides ongoing application support for production systems. The Senior Systems analyst takes a major role in the deployment of new products and upgradeschanges to existing products.Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Analyzes and designs viable solutions to medium to highly complex business problems defined by user requirements
• Detailed understanding of all aspects of systems development life cycle

Functional specification and user requirements

Detailed design and program specifications

Unit and integration test plans

Systems and end user documentation

Implementation and support sketches
• Assumes responsibility for immediate response to production program problems
• Identifies the need and feasibility for a development project, system upgrade/enhancement, or application failures
• Meets with users to understand the functional aspects of proposed solutions
• Meets with developers to understand the technical aspects of proposed solutions
• Documents functional and system requirements
• Performs systems analysis and design activities
• Meets with all interested parties to select the "best" practice
• Provide inputs in development of formal RFP documents designed to determine commercially viable solutions
• Represents the users to ensure that their requirements are accounted for and understood
• Educates the user on all system related issues that could impact other areas of operation
• Provide key input and assessments of all levels of project planning
• Based on the requirements and design of the proposed solution, develops a project plan including estimates of time with controllable tasks and interdependencies
• Oversees the day-to-day progress of the project development that pertains to the Systems Analysts
• Determines the project status, identifies additional requirements and tracks progress for their tasks
• Expedites the resolution of day-to-day operating questions generated by the user, such as, function usage, program option purposes, and how to locate the information requested by the user
• Supports the efforts of the Systems Assurance trainers in developing and delivering training for the new systems
• Performs other duties as assigned
Job Specifications: Competencies
Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience is preferred
• Recommended minimum of five to seven years experience in an Information Systems organization and/or equivalent application or business experience
