Systems Engineers

Purpose: Aerotek is in immediate need of systems engineers. The individuals will support the company's efforts on development programs across product line and on new initiatives.

Required Skills:
Skill set 2:
- Strong understanding of the operation and interrelationships of aircraft systems
- Strong understanding of the impact that configuration or requirements changes may have on performance related attributes (e.g. weight, R&M, safety), cost, and schedule
- High level of experience with requirements development and management
- High level of trade study experience. Must be able to decide what data is needed to make a decision; collect, integrate and distill the data; and present the resulting information to leadership so that decisions can be made.
- High level of experience identifying and quickly resolving design integration issues or issues that cross integrated product team (IPT) boundaries.
- High level of experience managing functional and physical interfaces.
- Experience with Risk Management, including the identification, analysis, and tracking of factors that could prevent the program from achieving its cost, schedule, and/or technical performance goals.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Must thrive in IPT environment, and be comfortable documenting processes and presenting to / training others. Must be able to productively interact with Customer to understand their needs.
- Experience with identifying integration and test activities necessary to verify requirements are met.
- Engineering degree.
- Proficiency using DOORS
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to accommodate changing priorities on a daily basis
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance preferred
