Systems Engineering Program Manager

We are currently seeking a Program Manager within our Systems Engineering Department.



The responsibilities of this role include:
This position will manage complex system projects and architectures to enable new customer features, support future satellite/service launches, and enable subscriber and revenue growth targets. Projects may span numerous technology areas including MPEG-4, IPTV, VOD, Conditional Access, RF, Ad Insertion, and System Control. Primary duties include:

Drive cross-functional system engineering projects from inception to deployment.
Serve as project leader, directing the actions of the core team including project managers, system engineers, software development, testing and integration.
Coordinate support with outside organizations, including IT, Set Top Box Hardware/Software Engineering, technology vendors and business units.

Develop and manage project schedules, chair project meetings, manage issues and action items, and provide communication and coordination to project teams.
Assist with development and maintenance of Systems Engineering project roadmaps.
Contribute to ongoing development of the Systems Engineering PMO.

Minimum qualifications to be considered are:
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, IT or Computer Science. Advanced degree or additional Business degree is a plus. 8-10 years of direct experience, managing software development and/or systems integration projects. Strong technical, analytic, organizational, and communication skills are essential. Experience with one or more of the following: Telecommunications, Satellite, Software Development, Database, UNIX, Conditional Access, MPEG, Audio/Video, PMBOK.
