Systems Engineering Manager

Manages the Systems Engineering support to the Sales organization providing a high level of customer satisfaction. Coordinates technical sales support, both pre-sales and post-sales, with other SE Managers, Marketing and Professional Services organizations as necessary. Primary goals are the sustained increase in product and service revenues, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Has responsibility for assisting in the development of new business opportunities, and meeting assigned financial objectives. Establish partnerships with key internal and external customers to enable the sale of FCS products and services.. The SE Manager's focus must include the support of sales in the full spectrum of product, service and solutions offerings. This position may be located in Washington, D.C., Dallas, Texas, or Atlanta, Georgia.
REQUIREMENTS


Communications:

a) The SE Manager must have excellent written and oral communications skill. IT Industry Knowledge.

b) The SE Manager must have general knowledge of IT issues, trends and other IT related knowledge.

Planning:

a) The SE Manager must have demonstrated ability to plan and organize complex environments, and develop and implement solutions.

Business Management:

a) The SE manager must have good judgments in exercising good business management practices (budgeting, expense control, resource management, etc.)

Personnel Management:

a) The SE Manager must demonstrate good people management skills. These skills should include the ability to coach and provide constructive guidance to employees.



Minimum 8 years in IT related discipline. Minimum 5 years in customer relationship role. Minimum 3 years in management role with responsibility for multiple direct reports.
