Systems Engineer Sr Stf

SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION: This position is a Systems Engineer with a focus on Cryptographic design, implementation, and
integration. This position interfaces with Air Vehicle and Autonomic Logistics integrated product teams, National Security Agency, Crypto
Suppliers, UK MoD, UK CESG, and the JSF Program Office. The engineer in this position will define key management and cryptographic
designs for incorporation into JSF. Detailed knowledge in cryptographic techniques including use of the US Electronic Key Management
System (EKMS), crypto key generation and distribution, and development of key management documentation is required. Knowledge may
be from professional experience and/or educational/technical training in the field of cryptography. Knowledge in systems engineering is
required. Knowledge in software and digital hardware design is desired.

This position also requires experience with integrating End Crypto Units (ECU) into airborne and ground based systems. The candidate
will coordinate with IPTs, the JSF Program Office, and USG certifying agencies to ensure successful certification of the JSF Air System.
Detailed knowledge of Key Management, Key Management maintenance activities, End Crypto Unit deployment and integration into flight
test environments, and use in operational environments is required. Previous experience with integrated End Crypto Units on airborne
and ground systems is required. Previous experience integrating crypto and key management architectures for Foreign Military Sales is
also desired. Experience with Certification Evaluation Evidence Lists (CEEL) is desired.

A combination of education and experience may be considered equivalent to the degree requirement. Case-by-case evaluation must
occur.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified
information.
For this particular position an active Top Secret security clearance, with a current background investigation is preferred.

STANDARD JOB DESCRIPTION: Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and
supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include:
concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of
customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs
functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer
requirements into hardware and software specifications.

EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined
education, with 14 years or more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
