Job Description:
Perform Systems Engineering supporting requirements analyses and trades at the System Architecture level. Primary focus will be software implementations, provide BOE’s for software lines of code, analyze complexity of software implementations, and providing software based solutions. Develop system level requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline required, Masters preferred, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 5 yrs related experience with desired education.

Experience:
Experience with design phase, including architecture, high level and detailed design required. Detailed object oriented design should have included classes, templates, inheritance, polymorphism, design patterns and frameworks using state charts tools like DECIDE. Experience with complex systems and their designs to include simulations, distributed systems, real-time/near real-time, multithreaded, heterogeneous and system of systems engineering necessary. Working knowledge and experience with common or generic OO design patterns and architectures such as CORBA and SCA. Design and integration experience with and without tools such as DOORS, Rational Rose/XDE/RSA, and SDK is required. Should have experience with database design (entity relationships/data molding, schema, procedures, triggers, views, queries, etc.). Participation in peer reviews with own/someone else’s design and customer input necessary. Experience with SW development standards and processes are a must and should include SW costing. Experienced in documenting SW design from scratch and use of tools that auto generate documentation, such as SoDA a plus. Technical writing and documentation required.
This position requires active TS/SCI security clearance.
