The qualified candidate will perform engineering, deployment and support activities of UAL J2EE platform on Weblogic/Websphere, EAI products such as Runway, CTC Application Miner, DB2 Connect, eLink. He/she will also provide support for the UAL Tuxedo environment.



This candidate will be required to work well in a team environment. He/she must possess excellent communication skills and should be able to work in a collaborative environment with ease. In depth knowledge in the installation, configuration and maintenance Tuxedo and Weblogic required. The candidate must have the ability to problem solve in a triage environment in an analytical method. The candidate should preferably have knowledge of United applications and how they integrate with each other.

Any knowledge of performance management tools such as i3, Introscope or similar products is preferred. The candidate should have knowledge of performance tuning and optimization techniques in a J2EE environment. Production support experience (on an on-call 24x7 environment preferred).
REQUIREMENTS
BS or BA in computer science or related field 5 or more years experience in large corporate setting engineering and supporting J2EE environments. Strong communication skills Ability to work with business units, virtual teams, and partners Strong working knowledge of the following: Weblogic 8.1 - Configuration, Administration and Problem Solving Tuxedo - Configuration, Administration and Problem Solving One or more of Runway, CTC Application Miner, eLink or MQSeries Unix - HP/UX, Linux, Sun SolarisStrong knowledge of scripting using Korn Shell Scripts, Perl etc. Strong preference for candidate with performance tuning and optimization techniques in a J2EE environment.
