Systems Engineer to develop new ideas and provide technical support for large-scale geospatial production task orders of image-derived products and/or services. Participate in a wide range of technical activities that may include: Geographic Information Systems (GIS) production troubleshooting; task order management for image-derived geospatial products such as CIB, DTED, DPPDB; white paper and proposal generation; photogrammetric analysis; GIS tool evaluation or customization; and general systems engineering activities such as requirements analysis, CONOPS generation, customer technical interface, specification development. Good interpersonal and technical leadership skills a must.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
BS Engineering, surveying, or related field required, MS preferred. Position requires in-depth understanding of photogrammetry of high-resolution imagery. Candidate should have had direct technical experience with COTS image-based and GIS systems. Experience desired with NTM and high-resolution commercial satellite data systems such as IKONOS ,QuickBird, etc. Experience with multi-spectral, RADAR and LIDAR sensors a plus. Requires a working knowledge of Systems Engineering processes, analysis and trade study techniques. Able to lead project teams and effectively communicate technical issues verbally and in writing to a broad audience.

This position requires a TS security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
