Systems Engineer/Administrator

Classification: Full Time Compensation: $65,000 to $75,000 per year Systems Engineer This position will be responsible for ongoing support of a Windows Active Directory environment and related Microsoft products encompassing 100 servers, 600 workstations, and various applications across 4 geographic locations. This position performs high level support and problem resolution for the entire computing infrastructure including AD, DNS, IIS/FTP/Web and Exchange servers, network components, and numerous in-house designed and 3rd party software applications. This position performs installation, configuration and upgrade tasks as well.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities•Duties include monitoring and management of all infrastructure and application servers, end-user support, and data integrity/data backups
•Duties also include Active Directory architecture/design, implementation, and administration
•Maintain and troubleshoot all IT infrastructure hardware and software•Work closely with IT team and other departments on daily activities, configuration and operation of mission-critical systems
•Maintain documentation to support the management of assigned services and infrastructure.
•Scheduling, performing, implementing and maintaining data storage, backups and recovery.
•Provide on-call 24/7 support for all production systems.
•Prepares audit reports/documentation and updates management on status of problems.
