Systems Analyst - SCADA

Support, maintain, update, operate and troubleshoot SCADA gas measurement and gas control systems. Serve as an in-house expert on extraction and summarization of data from internal and customer data systems for input to company well performance monitoring systems. Maintain a customer-focused perspective within a team environment. The position will require some travel and on-call responsibilities.

Perform functions required to install, operate and maintain control, measurement, SCADA and alarming systems for natural gas plants, pipelines, wellhead, compressor and tank fluid level controls to ensure the reliability and accuracy of data telemetry from remote facilities for Gas Control Operations.
Evaluate, test and apply application software updates
Monitor SCADA system performance
Support radio systems associated with existing and implemented SCADA systems
REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of Oil and Gas industry and field operations along with:

§Minimum of three years directly related and progressively responsible SCADA, telemetric and Load Management system administration experience in an energy production/transportation environment, including programming and analysis.

§Demonstrate an aptitude and practice to develop, document and follow best practices for SCADA systems

§Relational Databases - Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle

§Record creation and update

§Create queries to organize and filter records

§Export/Import data from/to text and spreadsheet files

§Background of PLC and hardware controls

§Data Acquisition / Collection
