Systems Administrator Job -> URGENTLY SEEKING A SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR WITH EXPERIENCE AND AMBITION!
A Texas based Utilities Cooperative is seeking a skilled, experienced,and ambitious candidate to fill a critical Systems Administration role. As Systems Administrator, this candidate would be responsible to ensure stable operations of the in-house software systems and network connections. This would include planning, developing, installing configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network software and communication links. This candidate would also analyze and resolve end user software program and connectivity issues and provide end user training as required. Typical activities would include: managing all operating systems and their corresponding software (Windows 2000, XP, 2K3, Exchange 2K3, & HPUX), managing company web sites and internet or intranet applications, deploying or maintaining firewalls, managing all host security activities, designing and implementing disaster recovery plans, establishing service level agreements with end users, and managing or providing guidance to junior team members. The candidate MUST be certified as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. Relocation is available for this position. This position is in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
