System Safety Engineer Washington Group International Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for the full-time position of System Safety Engineer in support of the NASA Safety & Mission Assurance Office at the White Sands Test Facility. Primary duties are providing professional safety engineering advice, guidance and assistance in the overall management of the required system safety activities associated with WSTF operations and training in their various stages of research, development, test, production, and/or deployment. Position requires an in-depth knowledge of safety and systems engineering concepts, principles and theories for complex systems as well as a working knowledge of safety principles, standards, practices, and analytical techniques. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/ combined education, with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience in system safety.
