System Safety Engineer

Purpose: A large, international manufacture, located in Grand Rapids, is seeking a System Safety Engineer to add to our dynamic team environment.

Performance of Functional Hazard Assessments (FHA), Occupational Health Hazard Assessment (O&HHA), Safety Assessment Reports (SAR), System Safety Hazard Analysis (SSHA), Safety Compliance Assessments (SCA), System Safety Assessments (SSA), Safety Assurance Analyses (SAA), Common Cause Analysis (CCA), Zonal Safety Analysis (ZSA), Particular Risk Analysis (PRA), and Common Mode Analysis (CMA) using MIL-STD-882D, SAE ARP4754, SAE ARP4761, DO-254, DO-178B Software Considerations in Airborne Systems Certifications, FAR/JAR 23/25.1309 (A)&(B), Certification Documentation on numerous Electrical/Mechanical Systems including Navigation and Display Avionics Systems.

This is a full-time, permanent position and pay will be commensurate upon experience.
