System Integration Analyst

Standard Job Description: Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains enterprise-wide solutions to total system or subsystems using internally created and/or off the shelf products. Analyzes and identifies all or part of a company's existing or new peripheral, network, and telecommunications systems requirements, taking into consideration the special technology needs. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem.

Typical Minimums: Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree. Considered experienced, but still a learner.

Specific Job Description: Systems integration and test planning technical position in support of the DPED Programs. Coordinate requirements analysis with customer and other functional groups. Provide input to realistic test schedules to achieve agreed delivery dates. Prepare and present customer briefings throughout life cycle. Prepare informal and formal test planning, procedure, and reporting documentation. Maintain knowledge about current Web Based and Service Oriented Architecture. Work closely with developers; attend inspections. design reviews and code walk throughs. Monitor the unit level and product level testing of the development team. Create and maintain automated test scripts. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
