Full Job Title: System Analyst/System Engineer¿Mission Analyst-DEEZ-240-P3 Skills Management Title Systems EngineeringJob Level: EXEMPTBusiness Component: Integrated Defense Systems (IDS)Job Description: This position is with the Missile Defense National Team. Conducts technical analyses of existing and potential Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) elements and architectures in support of the definition and development of overall system requirements and required component functionalities. Uses and supports the development and refinement of a broad range of computer based models and simulations. Conducts trade studies of competing technologies and/or employment concepts to support senior decision makers in the planning and allocation of future resources. Competencies REQUIRED: Extensive system engineering / operations analysis experience focused on performance predictions of complex systems and resolution of technical issues that affect performance, cost and schedule. Experience with the development of analytical tools. Strong communication skills, with proven ability to provide senior management with technical briefings. Experience performing mission analysis of Ballistic Missile Defense problems. EADSIM experience a must. Study lead experience preferred. PREFERRED: Experience in BMDS engineering development and analysis activities at the overall system or individual element level. Strong coordination, organization, teaming and communication abilities.
