System Administrator (Video)

My Clients Team deploys software and systems for delivery of television using the latest technologies in video compression, IP networking software and embedded systems. We are looking for a highly-motivated, self-starting System Administrator to help run our exciting, diverse and high-paced Global Solutions Lab.
Core Responsibilities:
Uphold excellence in customer service for individual and group requests and escalate blocking issues.
Monitor ticketing system for new tickets and work-items. Update existing tickets. Maintain hardware inventory control in ticketing system.
Proactively monitor systems health by physically inspecting environment and utilizing provided tools such as MOM and HPOV. Troubleshoot server hardware and software issues and escalate accordingly.
Assist as part of a team in building and managing lab environments with complex settings, configurations, topologies and equipment including servers and various network elements.
Deploy Windows Server 2003 using various imaging technologies. Install required pre-requisite software such as IIS and SQL Server. Assist in development, improvement and maintenance of imaging/deployment solution.
Administer multiple disjoint Active Directory Forests/Domains, DHCP, DNS, IPSEC and various other Infrastructure services.
Perform routine server updates/patching and software deployments utilizing tools such as ADS, SMS and WSUS.
Assist Lab Engineers with racking and patching equipment as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Highly motivated self-starter with a passion for working with technology. Must be able to work unsupervised in a complex and dynamic technical environment a majority of the time.
Technical analysis, conceptual and systematic thinking skills, problem troubleshooting/resolution, and communication/customer service skills required.
Experience with Windows Server 2003 installation, deployments, troubleshooting and automation.
Experience with storage solutions such as SAN/NAS and DAS (direct-attached storage) and associated HBA's.
Working knowledge and experience working with server hardware installation and troubleshooting.
Basic network troubleshooting in complex environments.
Ability to work with a large number of disjoint systems.
Ability to rack, unrack and move 1 and 2 RU servers (35-65 lbs) and light-weight network elements unassisted. Ability to work with others when lifting heavier equipment.
MCP, MCSA, MCSE, CCNA/P, CCDA/P or equivalent certifications highly desired but are not required.
B.A./B.S. in computer science, math, or technical disciplines or equivalent education and hands-on experience preferred.
