Job Description: Summary
Researches and determines business requirements and technical specifications for the development, modification, and expansion of new and current DHL-provided end-user shipping programs and systems. Configures and installs shipping systems on customer premises, integrating with customer's back-end database systems. Provides consultation services when needed. Works with end clients to analyze their shipping process and help provide enterprise-level solutions. This position may require up to 65% travel to the Southern California region, unless already physically located there.Skills & Qualifications
Seasoned professional. Concerned with problems that have a direct and important effect on business programs and results. Serves as consultant to management on major matters pertaining to policies, plans, and objectives. State-of-the-art knowledge of technologies, processes, and practices. Knowledge in SQL, Java, VBScript, and XML. Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline and 8-11 years experience in related field or MS/MA and generally 5-7 years experience in related field.
