Position Name: SurveyorMin Experience: Field experience a plus.Education: 4-year Land Survey or related degree is desired but not mandatory. Solid experience may substitute. FL PLS or PSM is required.
Required Skills: Applicant should be proficient in AutoCAD / Softdesk / LDD or Microstation; proficient in trigonometry and survey calculations. Should be meticulous, good at problem-solving and communicating with people; good knowledge of mathematics, physics and land survey computer software; ability to understand maps and graph drawing. Must be familiar with legislation concerning land and resource use.Responsibilties: Applicant will be required to perform survey tasks with the level of expertise consistent with a newly licensed professional, under the direction of a Florida Licensed Surveyor & Mapper. Position duties will include Topographic Surveying & Mapping, Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Legal Description Writing, Research, Parcel Sketches, Record Plats (subdivision) and Construction Calculations.
