Surveyor

Surveyor Job - IMMEDIATE NEED for Survey Coordinator in Houston, TX. The qualified candidate will need 3-5 years related experience. The qualified candidate must be knowledgeable in current onshore and offshore survey techniques, equipment, and practices. Must be familiar with land and environmental issues related to the design, permitting, and construction of onshore and offshore pipelines. Must be able to handle projects ranging from moderately difficult to complex. Must be able to apply knowledge, experience, innovation, and judgment to resolve complex problems. Must be able to work effectively in both a team environment and independently. candidate must be able to edit process and output electronic survey data for input into a CAD environment and maintain historical survey databases. Experience in GPS is essential with both RTK and DGPS, preferably with Trimble data collection and software. Must be able to at least navigate in a CAD electronic drawing package, preferably Microstation and have some familiarity with a drafting workflow. Successful candidate will be primarily responsible for providing survey support to activities related to the construction and maintenance of both onshore and offshore natural gas pipelines. Relocation assistance will be provided for the right candidate.
