Survey Mapper

Purpose: Regional Engineering consulting firm specializing in civil land development and environmental assessment has a tremendous career opportunity for an Survey Mapper in the Orange County office. Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of 3 years experience in the surveying and mapping field. Strong AutoCAD 2005 or 2006 and Land Development Desktop 3 or 2006 skills. The individual must be a team player and have a thorough understanding of Title Reports and Deeds and experience producing ALTA's, Parcel Maps, Tract Maps and Records of Survey. An L.S.I.T. is a plus.

The Office Surveyor will be responsible for preparing Record of Surveys, Parcel Maps, Tract Maps, ALTA's and various exhibits. The Office Survey Technician will write legal descriptions, work with field notes and field data, as well as perform research at public agencies. Individuals will work under the direct supervision of an experienced Professional Land Surveyor and have the opportunity to learn and advance their skills and knowledge in the Surveying and Mapping field while working with the latest technological tools.
