Supplier QA Engineer

JOIN A TEAM THAT DESIGNS COMPUTERS, DISPLAYS AND ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS FOR AIRCRAFT OF THE FUTURE!

Responsibilities:
•Conduct supplier surveys and monitor supplier performance regarding quality and delivery
•Assess potential new suppliers for inclusion into Approved Supplier List
•Audit and monitor suppliers’ quality systems to ensure compliance with requirements
•Verify suppliers’ compliance to statement of work and specification requirements
•Work with Design, Purchasing and Production Engineering to define and improve supplier parts and manufacturing processes
•Investigate, assist with implementation, and verify effectiveness of corrective action for purchased parts, process and hardware problems
•Some travel will be required
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
•Bachelors degree in Engineering or Quality Assurance required
•Must have experience auditing and evaluating suppliers
•Must have knowledge of quality systems ISO9001/AS9100 and auditing
•Prior experience in an electronics assembly environment preferred
•Must be detail oriented and have excellent verbal, written, organizational, analytical and PC skills
