Subcontract Manufacturing Engineer

Lincoln Industrial is the global leader in the design and manufacture of lubrication and fluid pumping products and system for the industrial and automotive marketplace.

We have an opportunity for a Subcontract Manufacturing Engineer to direct and support assigned vendors globally that manufacture components and finished goods for Lincoln Industrial.

Responsibilities include:

*Develop global vendors and suppliers to assure that products delivered to Lincoln meet published schedules and specifications
*Lead on-site vendor audits and corrective action verifications
*Assist the Quality and Purchasing Departments in the development of critical suppliers
*Work with production, Purchasing and Quality Assurance regarding timely receipt of quality products from assigned vendors
*Coordinate assigned DTS vendors with periodic in-house parts audit
REQUIREMENTS
This position requires the ability to travel for extended periods of time. Trips will typically be 2-3 weeks in duration. Candidate must be able to secure necessary passport and visas.

Other requirements include:
*Bachelors degree or equivalent in Business or Technical field with specialized training in statistics and engineering
*2-3 years of engineering, purchasing or quality experience in a manufacturing/machining environment
*Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential
*Prior experience required with ISO 9000 or related Quality system
*Knowledge of machining/assembly practices and gauging theory is a plus
