Structures Superintendent

structures experience in a manner consistent with Company policies and
procedures.Essential Functions:Plans and supervises foremen and other craft activities for roads, pile driving, precast, segmental and/or general
structures.
Maintains liaison with other department managers to insure all required equipment, material and inspections
support the project schedule.
Oversee subcontractor compliance.
Execute daily plans and schedules.
Perform weekly safety meetings with employees.
Ensure accuracy of records.
Assist in the interviewing, hiring and training of craft personnel.
Establish relationships with owners.
Work with Equipment Manager to minimize equipment costs.
Develop relationships with local unions and representatives.
Understand union agreements and prevailing wage issues.
Perform additional assignments as needed.Required Education:High School Diploma.Required Experience:Minimum 10 years heavy civil construction experience.Required Skills & Knowledge:Knowledge of construction paving, underground, concrete and grading practices.
Knowledge and understanding of union agreements and prevailing wage issues.
Demonstrated decision making skills.
Ability to work in high production environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Accuracy at all times.
Mechanical background.
Ability to respond quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines.
