Stress Engineer

Purpose: Stress Engineer to provide structural engineering support to the Structures and Materials Division of the Aviation Engineering Directorate by applying classical structural analysis methods and advanced finite element modeling techniques to evaluate the structural integrity of new design alternatives, repairs, and/or design modification efforts. Will perform fatigue analysis for dynamic components/ fracture mechanics evaluation and provide technical expertise to the airworthiness qualification/release process.

Required: Minimum Four years of Experience, Engineering Degree, US Citizenship and Ability to Obtain an Interim Clearance.
