Staff Support Engineer

Nashville based television production facility is looking for a full-time Staff Support Engineer. This new position's responsibility will be to work directly with Senior Management and to support the planning, design, and implementation of broadcast engineering projects within our studio facilities. Additional responsibilities include researching technical and engineering trends, engineering administrative development, and general engineering support.

We are searching for people who are self-directed, with excellent communication skills, the ability to operate in a team environment and that is focused, goal oriented, organized, & deadline driven. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of Engineering Broadcast experience and have the ability to handle multiple projects and budgets while meeting set deadlines.

REQUIREMENTS
Extensive working knowledge of production TV, Audio, and transmission engineering practices and procedures.
AUTOCAD.
Microsoft VISIO.
Knowledge of various project management software.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Excellent communication skills, as well as, excellent customer service skills.
Ability to lift, carry and balance heavy loads of at least 75 pounds.
Two year Engineering degree or 5 years of broadcast engineering experience.
Extensive knowledge of television production and post production.
Ability to work overtime, weekends, or travel as requested
Strong computer skills.
Ability to reliably get to work and be punctual.
