Staff Environmental Engineer/Scientist
REQUIREMENTS
Seeking an experienced engineer/scientist for our Cranford, NJ office. Candidate should have a B.S. in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with 2-4 years experience including the design of underground petroleum storage facilities. Specific experience must include working with the NJDEP Technical Requirements (NJAC 7:26E), the NJDEP UST regulations, Federal UST Regulations (40 CFR 280), SPCC Plans and AutoCAD (a plus). NJDEP UST certification and Professional Engineering License a plus. OR should have a B.S. in Environmental Science or equivalent degree with 2-4 years experience including field identification of wetlands and vegetation and absence/presence of wetlands determination. Certified Wetland Delineator a plus. Candidates should also have a working knowledge of NJDEP, SEQR and US Army Corp. permits. Experience with stream encroachment permitting and conducting Phase I Environmental Site Assessments a plus.
Candidates must have strong written and oral communication skills and a valid driver's license. 40-hour OSHA Hazwoper training and current OSHA 8-hour refresher training a plus.
Will also consider recent Graduate Civil/Mechanical Engineers/Scientists willing to learn and expand their knowledge base.
