Staff Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
Schneider Electric is searching for a staff level Digital Engineer. This position will require expertise in the area of digital design. Designs will include areas such as input/output control and high speed data acquisition. In depth knowledge of filtering techniques, electromagnetic compatibility, isolation techniques and safety standards (UL/IEC/LVD) would be a plus. 5+ years experience.Design ResponsibilitiesDigital Hardware design and developmentData acquisition system design (Current/Voltage sensing, filtering, op-amps, A-Ds)
Evaluation of other designs in areas of safety and EMC
Schematic capture/PCB LayoutBoard level Firmware
Required Background Knowledge
5+ years of working experience in digital hardware
Electromagnetic compatibility and mitigation techniquesExperience with various memory such as SDRAM, DDR, Flash, etc.Experience working with FPGAs (VHDL)
Schematic Capture/PCB Layout (OrCAD, Cadence)Experience with Power Systems or Industrial controls would be a plus
Required Personal SkillsGreat documentation and communication skills (requirements management/test plans)Enjoys working in a team environmentEnjoys mentoring junior engineers in areas of expertise
