Sr. X-ray Scientist

Sr. X-ray Scientist Description: • Design and develop X-ray based material detection system equipment. • Conduct fundamental studies in energy dispersive X-ray diffraction leading to the design of field prototypes. • Define design parameters. • Work with design team to implement the design.
REQUIREMENTS


Sr. X-ray Scientist Requirements:
Must be a U.S. citizen.
BSEE required. Master's or Doctorate Degree in EE, Physics or Material Science preferred.
Minimum of four years experience in designing and/or operating X-ray equipment in a medical or analytical environment required.
Must be a self-motivated, team-oriented, highly driven individual with experience in X-ray equipment design.
Need to be flexible, able to multi-task, and able to make technical presentation to development engineering and management teams.
Must be creative, hands-on, and able to solve problems quickly.
Demonstrated understanding of X-ray physics, safety and design issues necessary.
Industrial product development experience is highly desirable.
Understanding of machining, stamping, casting, thermoforming and welding processes helpful.

Salary is negotiable depending on level of experience.
