Sr. Systems Engineer, Systems Support & Testing - Mercury

Requires a systems development and tools knowledge to assist the QA/testing team in the goal of developing an Enterprise testing methodology and to move toward building repeatable testing processes to improve implementation quality and reduce testing cycle times. Will apply Mercury testing tools on SAP enterprise projects, web and all other enterpriseConfigure Mercury automated test environment
Execute load runner tests
Create and maintain manual and automated test plans, test cases, test logs and test reports.
Identify and communicate defects and/or enhancements in a clear and concise manner to appropriate team members
Project management
Work with subject-matter experts
Design and maintain how users will find information by defining its organization, navigation, labeling, indexing and searching systems on multiple platforms.
Ensure various detailed implementation tasks are appropriately performed.
Perform the research and analysis that leads to the strategic thinking and planning
Develop specifications that are effective and efficient, that are developed with maintainability, performance, portability, reliability, scalability, and security in mind.
Understand, support, and execute the approved methodologies and associated processes are achieved within established timeframes and budgets.
Demonstrate understanding of functional / business concepts and specific knowledge of the processes and terminology associated with assigned business customers.College Degree in MIS/CIS or related
4 or more years of related work experience.
Mercury tool knowledge required.
SAP experience preferred.
Fluency in CMM methodology, a plus.
Functional expertise utilizing IEEE, a plus.
Familiar with ASAP methodology, a plus.
Specialized skills in the ABAP, CATT and eCATT technologies a plus.
Demonstrate proficiency in information management and document management and project management.
Must have excellent communication skills
Understanding of Web applications.
