Sr Systems Engineer - Army/Navy Integrated System Engineering -

Selected candidate will join the Government Systems Advanced Systems Engineering department to perform senior systems engineering tasks related to Navy avionics programs. A thorough understanding and demonstrated performance of the entire systems engineering process is expected. Candidate will be expected to lead efforts related to the capture, analysis, and allocation of avionic systems requirements. The design, tradeoff, and documentation of avionic system architectures will also be performed. Additional responsibilities include technical support of marketing and program office organizations in pursuit of new business including design approach tradeoffs, bidding, and proposal activities. Knowledge of avionic sub-systems, bus structures and protocols, and system integration and test is also expected. Selected candidate will be required to work with a team of other systems and software engineers, and might be tasked with leadership responsibilities. Prior experience leading an engineering development is preferred. Prior experience with DOORS is preferred.



Applicants must be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense Security Clearance. US Citizenship required.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in applicable engineering or science field or six years related exempt experience plus six years related exempt experience.
