Sr. Systems Engineer # 811

Major Aerospace Company needs to QUICKLY locate 6 Sr. Systems Engineers to work in their Cedar Rapids, IA location. Three employees needed to stay in Cedar Rapids, and three will primarily be in Cedar Rapids, with 1 to 2 weeks of travel per month (national and international travel). Please review the criteria below, and if interested, please answer the questions below.3 TRAVELING TEAM Job Description: Work with Cabin Systems/ Entertainment Systems “SWAT” Team. Travel to client locations performing tests / identifying issues / making configuration changes to their commercial aircraft systems.3 LOCAL TEAM Job Description: Systems Engineer responsible for the application of Airshow cabin systems to Business and Passenger Jet aircraft. Applicant will work with OEMs to define cabin systems requirements and be responsible for the definition of cabin systems architectures consisting of entertainment, communications, networking, processing, data concentration, display, and control subsystems. Specific responsibility will include writing system specifications for commercial cabin subsystems, coordination with design engineering and the customer for technical requirements development. Systems integration test rig definition, design, and build; system interconnect design. Systems integration testing, and flight testing to demonstrate compliance with certification and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements: Knowledge of general aircraft systems, good communication skills and ability to work with other people are required. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated and have the ability to work independently.
