In this position, you will be leading technical position on a microarchitecture performance modeling team working on Intel's future generation server-class microprocessor. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Contributing in a technical leadership role to the development of a detailed microarchitectural performance model of Intel's future generation server CPU
- Working closely with the RTL team to define and determine feasibility of microarchitectural features
- Responsible for modeling all performance-critical aspects of the CPU microarchitecture, providing insight into and analysis of relative benefits of microarchitectural features, identifying areas of potential optimization, and correlating the performance model to the RTL model to ensure performance integrity
- Responsible for power and/or performance modeling, workload analysis, workload development, competitive performance analysis, and high-level architectural input



job Requirements


You must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and 12 years of experience, or a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and 10 years of experience would be an added advantage. Additional qualifications include:
- Strong background in all aspects of high-performance microprocessor microarchitecture
- Must have at least four years of experience on a performance modeling team of a high-end microprocessor
- Experience in x86 architecture and/or microarchitecture is preferred
