Sr. Software Engineer - Performance

Headquartered in St. Paul, Minnesota, Lawson has offices and affiliates serving North and South America, Europe, and Africa.An Associate Software Engineer, Performance will be part of a team that designs, builds, executes, and analyzes performance tests and benchmarks for Lawson Software products. The team will work closely with the Lawson product development organization and Lawson partners to ensure that the performance of Lawson's products meets or exceeds the customers' expectations.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

2 or more years of experience in software development knowledge of C/C , Java, COBOL, and/or Perl is preferred

2 or more years in analyzing and tuning application performance

Strong verbal and written skills

Proficient problem solving, interviewing and fact finding skills

Strong analytical and technical skills

Team work and organizational skills

Self-motivation and discipline, ability to multi-task

Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in analyzing and tuning SQL database performance

Experience in the use of performance measurement tools

Experience in the use of load testing tools

Experience in conducting methodical performance evaluations

Knowledge of Performance Engineering concepts
