Senior Software Engineer to join the Flight Management Systems Engineering Department to develop products for the business and regional market.



This position requires the following skills and experience:

Flight management systems domain knowledge (or allied avionics subsystems).

Real-time embedded software systems (Minimum 4-6 Years).

Strong teamwork orientation, as the position involves frequest interaction with flight management subsystem and verification engineers.

Superior technical communication.

Effective time management skills and the ability to work independently with little direct supervision.



The following skills and experience are desireable:

Software development project leadership throughout lifecycle of the program.

Commercial aircraft certification regulations awareness.

Ada or C Software language.

Matlab, Simulink, UML modeling tools.

ARINC 661 user interface software design and development.

DOORS requirements management tool.

Rational APEX development environment.

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in applicable engineering or science field or six years related exempt experience plus six years related exempt experience.
