Sr. Security Risk Analyst

Calyon Financial is a global brokerage firm headquartered in Chicago with offices in all major financial centers. We are looking for a Sr. Security Risk Analyst to join our Global IT Security team in Chicago, IL. Day to day responsibilities include: • Facilitate risk analysis methodology • Collaborate with IT professionals, business line heads, managers to identify risks in IT solutions and processes. • Maintain Risk mitigation measures databases. • Provide critical review of proposed IT solutions. • Work with Project Management teams with the aim to improve coordination of risk analysis activities • Assist Project Management to ensure quality content exists in project definitions and specifications. • Work closely with Security Compliance to ascertain risks and develop mitigation measures • Ensure risk mitigation measures are implemented • Prepare oral and written reports of residual risks on projects • Maintain Risk Analysis metrics dashboard • Contribute to the development of local security policies, standards and practices and ensures they are complimentary to CALYON security policies.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications include: • Must have detailed technical understanding of security point products (for example, various types of firewall gateways and their design, configuration, and management) • Knowledge of Information Security Architecture for multiple environments including but not limited to Oracle, NIDS, Vulnerability Management, Operating systems (UNIX, Windows, Mainframe), firewalls, networks, database and risk assessment framework • Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification is required • 10 or more years of General Security experience • 8 or more years of Architecture design, implementation and Operations experience Calyon Financial offers a competitive compensation package including medical, dental and vision, 401(k), pension and tuition reimbursement programs.
