Sr. Quality Engineer - Temp to Direct Hire opportunity!

Analysts International is seeking a Sr. Java Engineer for a excellent TEMP TO DIRECT HIRE opportunity with a major client in Alpharetta, GA (North Atlanta area).

This person will be responsible for the following:

Design and develop applications for client/server Internet web based services.
Design and develop interfaces to internal and external applications.
Maintain/enhance existing applications.
Interact with business analysts to understand business requirements and translate these into technical designs.
Interact with QC personnel to ensure that code is system-tested and regression-tested prior to release into production.
Interact with production support personnel to ensure that critical and major production issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Interact with development personnel in other departments within client's company to design and develop enhancements (or address issues).
Perform code reviews and design reviews with peers.
Create and execute unit test plans. REQUIREMENTS


Education: BS or equivalent work experience required; MS in Computer Science or equivalent preferred

Experience - Required Skills:

BS or equivalent.
Experience in Java, J2EE, XML/XSL, Struts.
Strong experience in the full software development lifecycle with an intimate knowledge of lifecycle processes and tools .
4-5 years of experience required in software development.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in JSF, AJAX, Facelets, and Oracle.
