Sr. QA Engineer - Lead

Position Description:

Responsibilities:


This is a hands-on QA Lead position. Primary responsibility is to lead a group of QA engineers through an iterative software development process. This includes, planning and coordinating test activities, functioning as a technical mentor, hands-on testing of product and working closely with development, product management, technical publications and other groups within the Company. This position reports to the Sr. QA Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
Required Experience:


Six plus years experience of Software QA with Enterprise-class, J2EE software
At least two years as a QA Lead
Must possess excellent interpersonal & communication skills. Possess the ability to be a self driven quick learner with attention to detail & quality
Experience with both Unix and Windows NT operating systems

Desired Experience:


Demonstrated experience with programming/scripting languages such as Java, Perl, JUnit, Jython, etc.
Knowledge of QA best practices, metrics reporting and trending
Experience with security related products or devices such as AntiVirus, Firewalls, IDS, IPS, etc.
Education:


BS in Computer Science or equivalent (MS preferred)
