Sr Process Consulting Engineer

EWA is ramping up our Process Engineering and Management capabilities and are looking to hire qualified candidates to work in our Atlanta Georgia office as senior process consulting engineers. EWA seeks candidates with the ability to perform conceptual and detailed design of systems in high tech areas such as microelectronics, bio-containment, pharmaceuticals, and nanotechnology. The ability to work well with minimal direction and as a part of a multi-disciplinary team is essential. You will also be expected to assist in sales visits and proposal preparation. A minimum of 10 years experience is required.

This candidate will be developed to assume a technical leadership role in development and design of new/improved processes as well as project management. This person will be groomed to move into the role of primary interface to EWA clients. The work will be in the private and public sector environments and will include gathering information to determine process needs, cost estimates, and managing teams involved in design, procurement, installation, and startup.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
•BS Chemical or Mechanical
•10+ years Experience
•Proven ability to generate PFD and P&ID’s and to specify instrumentation and equipment.
•Good working knowledge of Excel, WORD, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, etc.
•Ability to work independently
•Good organizational skills
•Experience/knowledge of key project economic parameters and analysis
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
•Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams
•Technical presentation preparation
•Process dynamic/control analysis concepts
•Technical diversity of knowledge for various state-of-the-art processes and equipment designs

Desirable experience includes:
•Troubleshooting process interruptions/problems and recommending and implementing resolutions including analysis and consideration of new innovations in materials, machinery, manufacturing, and chemical processing techniques.
•Addressing customer and regulatory requirements and concerns.
•Coordinating efforts of multifunctional groups to effectively implement activities to meet the project scope, schedule, and capital spending targets.
•Improving the safety, quality, and productivity of manufacturing processes/equipment.
•Familiarity with HAZOP techniques
•P.E. Registration preferres
•Familiarity with certain industrial Codes and standards

Travel Requirements:
Periodic travel will be required (30%)
