Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Required Education:
BS in a technical field with a minimum of 10 years working in a manufacturing discipline or machine shop environment planning, leading and/or supporting manufacturing operations. (Automotive, Defense and/or Aerospace).

Required Skills, Training, Exp:
BS in a technical field with a minimum of 10 years working in a manufacturing discipline or machine shop environment planning, leading and/or supporting manufacturing operations (Defense and/or Aerospace).

Preferred Skills, Training, Exp:
Equipment Operation: PC with Microsoft Office and Finesse MRP software, customer-supplied documentation in Catia V5, Pro-E and Unigraphics.
3 to 5 axis CNC milling and turning equipment with Unigraphics tool path programming

Job Responsibilities:
Provide engineering support to meet program requirement for various programs. Assure primary engineering for a particular program of product is completed as required per established priority and schedule. Develop all required engineering to produce parts, components, assemblies, sub-assemblies to meet program requirements.

Plan test/trials of methods and process. Prepare procedure routings, work instructions, bills of material and various documentation to facilitate program activities and hardware. Plan fabrication techniques, conventional and numerical control machining activities, heat treatment, welding, chemical processing and all other required manufacturing processes. Plan tooling and fixturing, including development of concept and approval of final tools and fixture designs.
