CDI has an Immediate Need for a Sr MS .Net Engineer/Developer
Job Description: Responsible for analyzing requirements and developing and supporting .NET, Java and other Oracle-based Tax applications based on requests from the corporate tax department. Analyze user requirements and translate them into effective systems designs; carry out technical reviews with other teams to verify designs. Develop appropriate technical solutions using the .NET and Java architecture and Oracle database processes. Scope of position is global.Job Requirements: Minimum 5 years of IT experience with emphasis in .NET Concepts and Architecture; Internet Information Server (IIS), Microsoft Transaction, C# Server(MTS), COM/DCOM/COM+; ADO. Proficiency with Oracle database; PL/SQL; SQL and related tools (such as Toad), VB.NET; VB script, HTML; Active Server Pages (ASP) ; ASP.NET; Java Script. Experience building applications with global scope including aspects such as multi-language, and multi-currency. Strong analytical skills; ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment. Results oriented. Some experience in project management utilizing best practice disciplines desired.Special Requirements: Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering OR equivalent experience and knowledge required. Experience with tax applications or corporate tax planning and preparation a strong plus.
