Sr Landman

Division: WesternCategory: LandPosition is responsible for providing Land support, direction and leadership to assigned team(s) and colleagues for purposes of: (1) meeting division goals and objectives; (2) managing and maintaining company minerals, leasehold and mineral assets; and (3) coordinating efforts with internal departments and disciplines for oil and gas exploration and production. Must possess the ability to work independently and with assisted supervision commensurate with attained experience level. Must demonstrate an ability to manage land assets in areas of varying complexity and demonstrate excellent communications skills.
Job Description:
Must possess skills interpreting, negotiating and drafting oil and gas contracts, conveyances, title curative; knowledge and ability to utilize land, operations, accounting internal computer systems and software to manage land assets. Proven ability to work in a team environment, taking a lead role when appropriate. Must be a self-starter, conscientious, team oriented, professional and flexible. Must be computer literate with a proven ability to utilize Microsoft Office products and similar systems software (Tobin, Arcview, Artesia). Must be able to travel on short notice if required.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university (PLM major); a minimum of 5 years in-house experience as a Landman.
