Sr. Identity Novell Engineer

Purpose: Currently seeking a Sr. Novell Engineer for a Direct Hire position in Raleigh. Must have CNE or CLE to be considered.

Position Summary

The position requires an experienced Novell technical lead consultant on Novell Identity and Access Management projects. This position will involve helping customers implement complex Identity Management solutions leveraging the Novell product suite linking multiple systems into unified security architectures.

- Highly experienced with directory technology in general and Novell specifically
- Experience with Novell DirXML and Novell Identity Manager 2 and/or 3
- Experience integrating with dissimilar systems.
- Certifications (CNE, MCNE, MCSE, etc.)

As a member of Identity Services, the Novell consultant will be required to lead the Discovery, Design, Planning, Implementation and Support activities for enterprise class Secure Digital Identity & Access Management Solutions using the product components developed and supported by Novell, Inc.

The position can further demand the technical activities of NetWare 6.X or greater, GroupWise 6.X or greater, Novell Clustering, ZENworks Resource Management solutions.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

-Design and Implementation of Novell Secure Identity Management solutions to include driver development, installation, configuration, and support.
-LDAP compliant directory services integration with enabled Web Services
-Data Mapping and Matching of dissimilar identity data and systems.
-Implementation and support of complex Novell iChain, SecureLogin and Portal deployments with various failover and fault tolerant network components.
-Conduct current state assessments on client installations including Health Checks.
-Novell platform troubleshooting and issue resolution
-Work with Novell Practice and Sales Management providing presales and post sales support that will advance solutions and project opportunities when assigned.
-Works cooperatively with vendors/partners to build strong customer relationships
-Maintain appropriate vendor and technology certifications

Secondary Responsibilities

-More than 75% travel may be required
-Requires a valid driver?s license and vehicle in good working order
-Technical writing, documentation and presentation skills
-Position requires continuous self study to keep up with the constantly changing technology
-On site customer training may be required
-Recurring report requirements may include but are not limited to: Time sheets, Expense reports, Billable Time sheets, Task Completion Documentation
-Perform other duties as assigned
