Sr. Hardware Technician

Support the hardware group for a fast moving startup company in the consumer audio market. Manage the hardware lab and provide a variety of support roles including:
- Organize, manage, maintain and control equipment and tools
- Assist in the testing and debugging of new boards
- Assist with UL/CE/FCC certification
- Prototype digital, power and analog Circuits
- Analyze and repair broken units
- Evaluate component second sources
- Generate and implement test plans
- Test and record experimental data
REQUIREMENTS
Required:- AS Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and spectrum analyzers
- Experience and skilled at electronic rework and assembly
- Self starter, able to work with a minimum of supervision
- Good organizational abilities
- Detailed note taking and data collection skills
- Systematic debug and diagnostic skills
- Familiarity with MS Office tools ? Word, Excel, PowerPointPreferred:- Experience with EMI/ESD testing
- Experience with UL/Agency testing
- Experience with RF circuits and antennas
- Experience with high and low voltage power circuits
- Experience with analog audio circuits
- Linux scripting
