Sr. Hardware Engineer

In this position, you will have an opportunity to design/develop electonic circuits. In addition, you will be redesigning existing circuits to enhance the functionality of the product and minimize product cost.

The position requires a sound understanding of the fundamentals of structured hardware design methodologies, analog and digital circuits, microprocessor circuits and hardware/software engineering practices.
REQUIREMENTS
BS degree in Electrical, Electrical Electronic Technology or Computer Engineering field.

Minimum 5 years experience in an electrical/electronic hardware design environment.

Experience with designing to EMC regulatory certifications.

Familiar with tools related to circuit design as well as a solid understanding of microprocessors and related technologies.

Circuit design experience related to display drivers, network communication cards, and/or product internal logic hardware.

The ability to organize, plan and coordinate the individual engineering tasks that are involved in a product development and the ability to make technical decisions that affect the direction of a project are essential.

Desired Qualifications:
Experience within a product support environment a plus.

Experience with designing to industrial environments desired.

UL experience desired.

Basic embedded software skills and the use of debuggers/emulators for hardware/software interaction preferred.
