Job Description:
• Leading and managing development of embedded cryptography and networking applications.
• Interact with company with all functional areas regarding product and system issues.
• Maintain regular contacts with senior level issues and concerns.
• Interact with customer management teams to ensure understanding of product and system specifications.
• Interact with appropriate departments with the company to ensure required actions are occurring
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
• BSEE/CE or equivalent with focus on Embedded Communications or Systems Engineering and minimum of 15 years in embedded communication and encryption technology or equivalent combination of technical experience or education.
• Cryptographic embedment experience a plus.

Experience:
• Project management experience relevant to embedded communications equipment and systems.
• Effective interpersonal skills, ability to convey technical and business matters in a clear, logical manner.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Extensive knowledge of embedded communication systems and/or cryptography.
• Ability to manage and make trade-offs between recurring cost, budget and schedule.
History managing a multi-discipline team (e.g. software, hardware and systems) with various levels of experience.
Ability to manage several small-to-large project developments at the same time.
Experience leading/developing junior engineering managers (i.e. manager-of-manager experience).
Positions at U.S. Harris locations may require U.S. citizenship for the purposes of obtaining a government security clearance. This position requires an active secret level security clearance.
