Sr Engineer Mine Planning (Short Range)

Produce and sequence monthly and three month mine plans. Provide mine operations with monthly requirements, optimize short term haulage profiles, electrical power needs, haul roads, and any day to changes that may be required to meet the monthly mine plan requirements. Coordinate and supervise survey crew activities. Design dump plans for waste and leach requirements.
Produce precise monthly and three month mine and dump plans that maximize efficiency and productivity while following the constraints of the current long range plan and forecast.
Provide mine operations personnel and SXEW production schedulers with monthly mining and dumping requirements and predictions.
Coordinate with mine operations any changes required to meet monthly mine and dump plan requirements.
Optimize short term haulage profiles and coordinate and facilitate any haulage profile changes or concerns with mine operations.
Responsible for creating and/or updating life of mine dump plans.
Take long range designs and produce crest/mid/toe and ramp design. Produce any required changes to long range designs and re-distribute to long range, survey, blast design and ore control.
Produce and distribute monthly and year to date reconciliation reports.
Provide electrical department and mine operations with new or old power pole locations and deadlines for installation and removal of poles and/or sub stations.
REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of Minesight, CAD, Microsoft Office, Statistics Software, TGO survey software, and mine operations experience.
